Fire Station No. 3

Portland Fire & Rescue (PF&R) promotes a safe work environment for all people who live and work in Portland and the surrounding areas.

Emergency Services

Fire Station No.3 was built in 1967 to house the operations for fire fighting companies Engine 3, Truck 3 and Engine 17. The building has not changed significantly since its original construction, except that a seismic upgrade was carried out in 2002. Currently, Engine 3 and Truck 3 are housed at this location. Truck 3 is now a new fifty-six foot long aerial ladder apparatus that exceeds the apparatus bay’s dimensional capacity due to lack of clearance. The fire station expansion meets the needs of the apparatus bay.
